12-Mar-2019 10:35 AM
Applications for the sixth YMCA Youth Parliament Press Gallery are now open! The program, delivered in partnership with the Victorian Government, will give young people the opportunity to be trained, mentored and supported to report on the events and outcomes of the YMCA Victoria Youth Parliament.
The program will also involve participants attending a training camp in May and participating in workshops delivered by political journalists and media industry specialists. This program provides valuable insights and training to empower young people to become further involved in the media industry. Several participants now work within the industry both in Australia and abroad.
Individuals can take part in the YMCA Press Gallery by completing an application form online at: www.vicyouth.ymca.org.au/programs/youth-parliament/youth-press-gallery.html
Applications for the YMCA Youth Parliament Press Gallery close Sunday May 6, 2018.
