Variety Bash barrels through SA, handing out grants to regional communities

The 29th annual SA Variety Bash kicks off on Saturday 12 August, with more than 100 crazily themed cars and 300 colourful costumed crew taking part in the eight-day, 1875 km drive starting from the ‘Pastures’ of Mount Barker and travelling to the ‘Pines’ of Mount Gambier.
Cars with themes ranging from Frozen to Fireman will travel through outback SA and inject hundreds of thousands of dollars into the regional economy through purchases of meals, accommodation and petrol.
Variety - the Children’s Charity of SA is a not-for-profit organisation empowering South Australian children who are sick, disadvantaged or who have special needs. By supporting children and families through equipment, programs and experiences, Variety helps children in need to overcome the obstacles they face.
