Melbourne Cup Kicks off for Kids at Convention Centre

Variety – the Children’s Charity will hold its annual Melbourne Cup luncheon tomorrow at the Adelaide Convention Centre to raise money for kids in need in South Australia.

The sold out event will feature fashion parade by Showies Boutique, entertainment by live band “The Cast” and tips from legendary bookmaker, Hollywood “Syd” McDonald.

Guests will enjoy a three course meal and premium beverage package and enjoy the view across the River Torrens and surrounding parklands.

Variety – the Children’s Charity supports kids who are sick, disadvantaged or who have special needs by granting practical equipment and funding programs so that all kids can have a fair go.

Proceeds from the Melbourne Cup luncheon will go towards funding things like school camps for kids who are disadvantaged, surgery to assist children born with cerebral palsy or therapy for children who are living with autism.
