Hundreds of Santas Take Over Melbourne for the Variety Santa Fun Run This Friday

05-Dec-2016 5:21 PM

Ho, ho, hold onto your bellies and dust off your beards Melbourne! Hundreds of Santa’s will line the banks of the Yarra River in Melbourne this Friday night as part of the Variety Santa Fun Run, raising funds for disadvantaged kids this Christmas.

After picking up their free Santa Suit, entrants will run, walk, push or roll their way around the 1.5km, 5km or 10km, flat and fully accessible course past a summer Christmas forest, snow machine and roving entertainers,  before finishing with live music, food trucks and a licensed bar to satiate the thirstiest Santa’s in town!

In the spirit of welcoming all, the run is dog friendly and there’s plenty to do for both Santa Paws and Santa Claus alike.

In what is now an annual tradition, the Santa’s will line up for the world’s largest #SantaSquad selfie to celebrate Christmas.

Potential Santa’s can register to be part of the most festive fun run in Melbourne by visiting  varietysantafunrun.org today (free Santa suit included).
