Band of The Royal Military College presents ‘Marziale’

What:             The Band of the Royal Military College is proud to present ‘Marziale’, a spectacular military themed concert featuring one of Australia’s finest military bands, Canberra’s own RMC Band. Joined by music students from the ANU School of Music and the Canberra City Pipes and Drums, Llewellyn Hall will resound to the sound of modern symphonic wind band repertoire, vocalists, and virtuoso instrumental soloists. The pageantry, colour and precision of military music will be on full display. This event promises great entertainment and will highlight the pride felt for the men and women serving in the Australian Defence Force through a musical tribute to their dedication and sacrifice. All proceeds will go to support Legacy.

Background:
The Band of the Royal Military College, Duntroon, is a 63 piece professional symphonic wind ensemble that supports the Australian Defence Force, State and Federal Government, Regal and Vice Regal functions, and the community of the ACT and region. Recent overseas engagements have seen members of the Band performing in Switzerland, Turkey, Tonga, Malaysia and Japan. The Band continues to be a respected participant in the arts community of Canberra and beyond with performances at the Canberra International Music Festival and the Canberra Symphony Orchestra series.
