The Australian Defence Force is once again supporting the Clipsal 500 Adelaide with a range of military equipment and flying displays.

Today on ADF Oval, Air Force’s furriest members – the Military Working Dogs – will thrill with their action-packed attack demonstration and agility display.

A Hawk 127 lead-in fighter from RAAF Base Pearce’s 79 Squadron will put on thrilling displays on Saturday and Sunday, followed by the National Anthem fast jet salute.  The timings are:

Saturday at 2.57pm and
Sunday at 2.57pm and 3.11pm for the National Anthem fast-jet salute.

Musicians from the Navy, Army and Air Force bands will make their debut at the Clipsal 500 Adelaide 2017 race as they sing the National Anthem before Sunday’s big race.

ADF Oval is the place to be over the four days of the Clipsal 500 Adelaide to see a range of military equipment including state-of-the-art night vision equipment, military training simulators and aircrew equipment.

Team Army is proud to show off its newest member, TsunArmy, based on a Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon 6x6, as well as crowd favourite Project Digger who will once again deliver an action-packed performance on the track.

Jump inside an M113 armoured personnel carrier (M113AS4) and a Bushmaster protected mobility vehicle (PMV) at Army’s Adelaide and Darwin-based 1st Brigade display.

Then step inside life on a modern RAAF base with the Air Force’s simulated flightline display.
